Eligibility
You must have authority to use Tessra on your own behalf or on behalf of your organization. If you use Tessra on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
License requirement
Tessra is commercial software. To use it, you need a valid license, an active subscription, or a trial activation issued by Oxis.
A Pro license is intended for one individual user and one active machine at a time, unless otherwise stated in writing or under a team plan.
Free trial
The free trial lasts 7 days unless otherwise stated on the product page or checkout flow. During the trial, you may access Tessra's core experience to evaluate the product.
After the trial ends, access may be paused or require a Pro subscription to continue.
Paid plan
The Pro plan is offered as a paid subscription. The price, billing cycle, applicable taxes, and payment terms are shown at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled.
Local use and technical privacy
Tessra is designed to run locally. The product indexes and processes your repo on your machine to serve context to compatible MCP clients. Tessra does not upload your code to Oxis or send MCP usage telemetry.
Related services, such as authentication, licensing, payments, email, dashboard, support, or web analytics, may process the data needed to operate the account, subscription, and service.
Permitted use
You may use Tessra in accordance with these Terms, applicable law, and your active plan, license, or trial.
Restrictions
- bypass, disable, or attempt to circumvent licensing controls
- resell, sublicense, share, or transfer Tessra without authorization
- use an individual license for multiple people or as a team license without authorization
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law does not allow restricting that right
- use Tessra to violate law, third-party rights, or applicable policies
- interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the service
Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, credentials, devices, and activated environments. You should notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.
Billing
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled. Fees, taxes, billing cycle, and payment provider are shown at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription through the dashboard, the payment provider, or by contacting support.
Unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law, payments already made are non-refundable.
Changes
We may update pricing, features, limits, plans, and product packaging over time. Material changes will be reflected in the current product terms, pricing pages, or through reasonable notice when appropriate.
Intellectual property
Tessra, its software, brand, design, documentation, content, and related materials are owned by Oxis or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer intellectual property; they only grant you a limited right to use the product under your license, trial, or subscription.
Availability and warranties
Tessra is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis except as required by applicable law. While we work to keep the product stable and useful, we do not guarantee that Tessra will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every use case.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oxis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the product, including loss of data, loss of revenue, business interruption, or decisions made using outputs from AI agents or connected tools.
Responsibility for code changes
Tessra provides context to assist your tools and AI agents, but it does not replace your technical judgment, code review, tests, security checks, or deployment processes. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving any changes made with the help of Tessra or connected tools.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, abuse, fraud, security risk, unauthorized license use, or violation of these Terms.
Language
If these Terms are available in more than one language, translations are provided for convenience. In case of conflict between versions, the English version will control unless applicable law requires otherwise.
